About Ken

Ken Silvestri is Lexington's #1 commercial Realtor according to Lexington Bluegrass Association of Realtors for 2011. Ken served as the 2007 President of the LBAR Commercial Investment Council. Mr. Silvestri has been a leader and a top performing real estate professional since 1990. During his career he has been recognized as a member of the Re/Max Hall of Fame and has completed over 2000 real estate transactions.

Ken is a native to Lexington. His first job was working at his grandfathers fruit stand in downtown Lexington in 1968. As a young entrepreneur, Ken mastered door-to-door sales of newspaper subscriptions and actively maintained landscape, mowing and snow shoveling jobs thru his teens. In 1976, Ken earned the rank of Eagle Scout at Troop 93. Ken moved to California in 1981 at the perfect time to enter and dominate the newly evolving cable TV industry sales. He gives much of the credit for his success to the steady and unprecedented support of his wife Tammy of 29 years. Ken has been an active member of Crossroads Christian Church and served on their greeting team for over ten years.

Ken is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie course and has served numerous times as a graduate assistant. He has been a repeat speaker at the University of Kentucky on sales, marketing and sales psychology. Ken has a lifetime passion for photography, travel, hiking, & canoeing and has always enjoyed a high adventure lifestyle.
